Opposite Day

Remember when you were a kid, and whenever you wanted to get away with lying you just said “today is opposite day,” as if that negated the fib you just told? Well today, January 25th, actually is opposite day. Now you can get away with any rubbish you come up with, and can pass it off as the day’s festive tradition which is oh, so necessary to follow. It would be like christmas without eggnog and gingerbread houses.

Point of reference: I made all of that up, and in no way did I look up January 25 on wikipedia.

Thank you for not believing.
